ABC’s ‘Fresh Off The Boat’ viewership rebounds in season finale
The season finale of ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat” ended on a positive note, marking the first time the sitcom brought in over five million viewers in almost six weeks, according to Nielsen Media Research.
It was a 6.64 percent increase from the previous week.
The episode, titled “So Chineez,” dealt with the Huang family reconnecting with its cultural roots while having an identity crisis or two along the way.
The show has yet to be renewed or canceled, but the rise in viewership in tandem with increased social media participation surrounding the show may help its case.
