Actor Lee Jong-suk serenades Japanese fans
September 28, 2016
SEOUL, Sept. 28 (Yonhap) — South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk has seized the hearts of thousands of local fans in a meet-and-greet event in Japan, his agency said Wednesday.
The 27-year-old hero of MBC’s hit romantic series “W” greeted some 8,000 Japanese fans in “Variety,” a two-day fan meeting event, held in Osaka on Sunday and Tokyo on Tuesday, YG Entertainment said.
The South Korean heartthrob showed up to the event in a sleek black pin-striped shirt and sang several songs to entertain the audience.
In October, “W” will launch on a Japanese satellite channel.
Lee is to host two more international fan meetings on Oct. 21 in Taiwan and Oct. 28 in Thailand.
