Ahn Jung-hwan treated for minor injuries following car accident

Former national soccer player and sportscaster Ahn Jung-hwan received medical treatment at a Seoul hospital following a car accident Tuesday in Korea.
According to YTN, a Lexus sedan being driven by a 36-year-old identified as Lee crashed into Ahn’s vehicle, which was stopped at a light, around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Ahn was not seriously hurt but was taken to the hospital for neck and back injuries. He returned home around midnight.
The sportscaster was on his way home after calling the quarter-final Asian Cup game between South Korea and Kuwait.
Police are investigating the matter.
