Ailee to release single Jan. 6
Singer Ailee will release a digital single tentatively titled “The Song Getting Better.” It’s produced by Wheesung and will arrive on Jan. 6.
Ballad singer/producer Wheesung actively participated in both composing and writing the lyrics. In terms of songwriting, he worked with songwriter Moon-ha, according to Ailee‘s agency, YMC Entertainment. Moon-ha wrote the official soundtrack for the television drama “Moon Embracing The Sun,” a drama series aired on MBC.
Wheesung produced Ailee’s previous hit song, “Heaven,” in February.
YMC Entertainment has great expectations about the new song. With “Heaven,” Ailee climbed to the top of K-pop charts in just three months.
“Given the top of the K-pop chart is full of idol groups, Ailee has achieved a lot. In this new song, we have high hopes in Ailee and Wheesung, who have reunited for the album after two years,” said YMC Entertainment. On Jan. 4, Ailee will release a teaser video in advance of the official release of the song.
