Anime Expo to feature S. Korean cosplayers Aza and Hori
By Tae Hong
Two South Korean cosplayers, Aza and Hori, are coming to Anime Expo, to be held inside Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) July 2 to 5.
Aza and Hori, both fast-rising cosplayers, work with 2AO Design, a costume and prop company.
Aza won the Samsung People’s Choice award last year at the World Cosplay Summit.
The pair will attend a Q&A cosplay panel Saturday and hold autograph sessions Friday and Saturday, according to AX.
Other guests include anime creators Takahiro Miura and Yoh Yoshinari, bands KISS and Momoiro Clover Z and voice actors Ayako Kawasumi and Cristina Vee.
AX, the largest anime and Japanese pop culture convention in the U.S., is an annual affair that attracted 80,000 people last year. The four-day event is organized by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation.
