Annual Korean traditional concert to be held in Manhattan

The Korean Performing Arts Center will hold its annual performance inside Peter Jay Sharp Theater at Symphony Space in Manhattan at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.
This fall marks the 20th anniversary of KPAC’s foundation. The performance, which aims to help spread traditional Korean music each year, will feature pansori master Shin Young-hee, samulnori pioneer Lee Kwang-soo and his team, gayageum player Baek Ki-sook, and 13 traditional instrument players.
The event is sponsored by The Korea Times.
Tickets cost $100 for front orchestra seats, $35 for rear orchestra and balcony seats and $25 for students and seniors.
