AOA to return with EP album of vibrant summer songs this month
SEOUL, May 15 (Yonhap) — AOA will return with a new EP album this month, marking the girl group’s first record since the departure of member Cho-a last year, its agency said on Tuesday.
The fifth AOA EP, “Bingle Bangle,” will be released on May 28, FNC Entertainment said.
With the release, AOA will return as a six-member act after Cho-a dropped out of the group following their latest album release in January 2017.
The new album’s title track, also called “Bingle Bangle,” is designed as an energetic summer song exuding the “uniquely bright and vibrant energy” of AOA, according to the agency.
Ahead of the release, AOA’s agency also released a concept image for the new record showing the six members in orange shorts in a cheerleader concept against the backdrop of an orange locker room.
