Apple Korea names former Samsung exec as new head

SEOUL, April 24 (Yonhap) – United States tech giant Apple Inc. named a former executive of Samsung Electronics Co. as the new head of its South Korean branch, industry sources said Tuesday.
Apple Korea did not comment on the matter.
Sources said Brandon Yoon, a former marketing executive of Samsung Electronics who had worked for the South Korean tech giant since 2015, recently relocated to become the general manager of Apple Korea. The information came to surface after Yoon updated his Linkedin profile.
Yoon worked for Microsoft Corp. from 2003 to 2015.
