AT&T launches latte art competition for best Asian American barista
Who’s got the best latte art around?
It’s the question AT&T is asking voters for its online competition for Asian American baristas around major U.S. cities, Latte Art Smackdown.
The tech giant is pitting five baristas selected from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Seattle in a fight to win a tech pack that includes a tablet, wearables and audio goods.
Two Korean Americans — Angie Chun of Coffee Code and Peter Lee of Cafe Dulce — are competing in the contest. Others include Philip Ma of Ma’velous Cafe, Randall Ajimine of Qcafe and Colin Quek of Grace Street.
The event is a part of AT&T’s promotional activities for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
Voting ends Nov. 5.
