Bangtan Boys cancel Japan concert after Suga, V complain of dizziness
SEOUL (Yonhap) — South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys has canceled its year-end concerts in Japan after two of its members came down with health issues, the group’s management agency said Monday.
The seven-member act was supposed to perform at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan from Sunday to Monday. But members Suga and V complained of dizziness at rehearsals which led to the cancellations, BigHit Entertainment said.
“Their CT scans didn’t show any major problems, but local doctors said their rigorous movements on stage might have caused it,” the agency said in a statement, adding that their conditions seem to be improving rapidly.
The agency said although the two had “begged” to continue with the concerts, they decided to listen to the doctors’ recommendations to rest.
“We’ve decided that performing without the two members would be a disservice to the fans,” the agency also said, adding that all tickets will be refunded.
