Big Bang’s Seungri hospitalized for minor bleeding
Big Bang’s Seungri, who was in a car accident early Friday, has been admitted into the hospital for minor bleeding in his liver, Yonhap reported.
According to a YG Entertainment source, the 23-year-old singer, whose real name is Lee Seung-hyun, does not have a fracture but has been told by doctors to stay in the hospital for a week for recovery.
“Seungri will not be able to participate in the upcoming Singapore performances on September 13 and 14 for YG Family’s world tour,” the source said. “Big Bang will perform with four members.”
Lee’s Porsche hit a Mercedes-Benz traveling in the same direction on Gangbyeon Expressway around 3:36 a.m. Friday and overturned, colliding into a guard rail. Two people in the Mercedes-Benz — a 54-year-old and a 32-year-old — obtained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Lee initially did not go to the hospital following the accident.
Police said Lee, who was in the car alone, tested negative for alcohol at the scene. They are investigating the case further.
