BTS to resume world tour in August
SEOUL, April 27 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy band BTS will resume a world tour starting in August in Seoul, its agency said Friday.
Big Hit Entertainment said the seven-act group will hold its “Love Yourself” global tour, launched in 2014, in Seoul Olympic Stadium on Aug. 25-26. Then it will continue the tour in 10 cities in six nations: Los Angeles, Auckland, Fort Worth, Newark, Chicago, London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Hamilton.
More concert schedules will be announced as soon as they are confirmed, the agency said. Last year, the group held 40 sold-out concerts in 19 cities worldwide.
The group is set to release its third full-length album “Love Yourself: Tear” on May 18. On May 20, it will perform at the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where they are nominated for the Top Social Artist award.
