Bundesliga’s Kim Jin-su rated one of the best signings of the season
Kim Jin-su, who plays for the German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, was named one of the best signings of the season, Monday.
The Football Observatory of the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES) ranked Kim fourth in the category of “recovery,” trailing behind Walter Gargano (Napoli), Wendell Nascimento (Leverkusen) and Dusan Basta (Lazio).
Kim was also placed seventh in “rigor,” which was topped by Dejan Lovren (Liverpool) and followed by David Astori (AS Roma), Michael Keane (Burnley) and Sergi Gomez (Vigo).
CIES releases a big-5 weekly post in “rigor,” “take on,” “recovery,” “chance creation,” “distribution” and “shooting.”
Kim joined the J-League club Albirex Nigata in 2012 and transferred to Hoffenheim in June, 2014. The left back was named among the “best 11″ in the Bundesliga Round 13 in December and played for the South Korean team at the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Incheon.
