May 13, 2015
Choo Shin-soo is on fire. Texas Rangers’ South Korean outfielder extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a leadoff home run against the Kansas City Royals at home Wednesday.
In the bottom of the first, Choo took Royals (21-13) starter Yordano Ventura over the right field wall at Globe Life Park in Arlington for his fifth home run of the season and second straight leadoff blast.
Choo went on to add a single and a RBI to help the Rangers (15-19) defeat the Royals 5-2.
