Comedian turned MMA fighter reveals bruise-ridden face
Yoon to debut on Feb. 9
By Ko Dong-hwan
Mixed martial arts rookie Yoon Hyung-bin posted his “bruised” face online, sources said Thursday.
The comedian-turned MMA fighter smiles in the photo as if he feels not so shabby with the dark-smudged spots.
“I’ve never had this size of bruise in my life,” said the rookie.
The photo confirms that Yoon’s training in preparation for his upcoming February fight against Japanese contender Tsukuda Takaya is becoming fiercer.
Yoon’s coach Seo Doo-won already announced there’ll be no room for mercy in galvanizing the former funnyman. And the recipe is cooking as planned as the training course for each day has been tougher than the day before, the sources said.
Associates from the team said Yoon even requested his teammates to train him even harder. The sources added they praised his efforts in not just transforming into a better fighter but also not losing his smiles in the training atmosphere.
Yoon’s fight is scheduled to take place on Feb. 9.
