Contest offers date with Dal Shabet’s Woo-hee
Fans of K-pop girl group Dal Shabet now have the chance to have a “real date” with one of its members, Woo-hee.
Korean online video platform Moncast launched the event last week. Those interested are required to download Moncast’s app from their smartphones and describe why they want to go on a date with the singer.
Moncast will accept applicants until Wednesday and announce the winner on Thursday (KST).
Moncast made a short video promoting the event, depicting what it might be like to date Woo-hee. The singer asks her date to buy her a toy from a vending machine and takes selfies with her date.
“Do you dream of having a real date with Woo-hee from Dal Shabet? Moncast will make it come true!” the video says.
The band debuted in 2012. Woo-hee also had a cameo in the horror movie “Tunnel 3D” in 2014.
