Crayon Pop to open for Lady Gaga
Viral K-Pop “Bar Bar Bar” sensation Crayon Pop will be one of the opening acts for Lady Gaga’s upcoming “artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball” tour.
The quintet will join Gaga through her itinerary in cities across the U.S. and Canada — from Milwaukee and Boston to Toronto and Los Angeles — for about a month.
Their tour with the American pop star will span from June 26 to July 22, Gaga announced on her Twitter Thursday morning.
Last summer, Crayon Pop’s addictive, colorful chart-topper swept both Korea and the Internet in the biggest K-Pop video since Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” The song hit No. 1 on Billboard’s K-Pop charts in August 2013.
The helmeted group will first make their appearance at The Korea Times’ 12th Annual Korean Music Festival in L.A. on May 3 before joining Lady Gaga’s tour.
