December 12, 2014
David Ryu, who threw in his name for Los Angeles City Council to represent District 4, will be candidate No. 1 on voting sheets come the March 3 election.
According to the Los Angeles Registrar/County Clerk Thursday, a random alphabet drawing to determine the order of candidates’ names on ballots selected the letter R.
Ryu said he plans to continue his campaign to encourage people to register and vote.
He looks to take Councilman Tom LaBonge’s termed-out seat. Meanwhile, another Korean American, Grace Yoo, has also thrown in her name to represent District 10.
