Doctor Strange, attracts over 5 mln local viewers

SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Yonhap) — Marvel Studios and Disney’s “Doctor Strange” has drawn over 5 million moviegoers just 24 days after its release here, its local distributor said Friday.
The action-fantasy flick became the second foreign film to achieve the milestone this year after Marvel’s blockbuster “Captain America: Civil War,” which had attracted a robust 8,677,248 local viewers, according to Walt Disney Korea.
The superhero flick continues flying high at the North American box office, maintaining the top spot for two weeks straight with accumulated earnings of US$150 million.
