Dodgers to host youth baseball clinic in Koreatown Saturday
As part of the team’s community relations goal of inspiring fans to Live, Learn, Play and Serve, the Los Angeles Dodgers will play host to a youth baseball clinic at Seoul International Park in Koreatown from 10:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday for more than 150 youngsters from the Koreatown Youth Community Center (KYCC) and Asian American Drug and Abuse Program (ADAP).
Dodger Alumni League members Al Downing, Al “The Bull” Ferrara and Tim Leary will lead the clinic and in partnership with Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson’s office will provide lunch for the youngsters consisting of hot dogs, chips, popcorn and punch.
The Seoul international Park is the seventh Dodger Dreamfield and was dedicated by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), Council District 10 and the LA84 Foundation in 2006.
