Don’t blink, you may miss Seoul in Marvel’s Avengers 2 trailer
Scarlett Johansson is seen racing in the streets of Gangnam, southern Seoul, on a motorcycle in the trailer for “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” released Thursday.
Given that the production team spent several days filming here this spring, it comes as little surprise that the Korean capital can be spotted in the trailer.
Blink, however, and one might not spot Seoul.
The city is seen briefly, once when the Johansson is dropped out of a aircraft and lands, straddling her motorcycle, and in one snippet that shows Captain America (Chris Evans) skidding out on a motorcycle near a KB bank.
“It’s so unreal, it feels like the scenes are photoshopped,” commented a Twitter user in Seoul.
The trailer was to be officially released on October 28. However, after the video leaked Thursday, Marvel Entertainment jokingly blamed “Hydra”, the terrorist organization in the movie series, before releasing the official trailer.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in May.
