Korean hip-hop trio Epik High will kick off their six-city North American tour in May, according to local media Thursday.
The tour, presented by SIVA Group, will begin in San Francisco on May 28 and visit Los Angeles, Vancouver, Dallas, New York and Toronto.
Epik High’s last U.S. tour was in 2009. Canada will be seeing them solo for the first time this year.
The group, one of Korea’s top hip-hop acts since their 2003 debut, will perform in the Philippines, Hong Kong and eight cities in Japan before making their way to America.
YG Entertainment, their agency, said their 2009 tour was sold out. Epik High’s latest album, “Shoebox,” landed on No. 2 and No. 7 on iTunes Canada and U.S. Hip-hop charts, respectively, and No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart upon its release last year.
