EXO makes two year-end Billboard charts
December 24, 2015
(Yonhap) — South Korean boy band EXO has finished the year 2015 in the top 10 of two Billboard year-end charts.
The nine-member act ranked seventh in the World Albums Artists category, becoming the only South Korean band to make the top 10 list, S.M. Entertainment said.
It’s the second straight year EXO has surpassed all other South Korean artists on the U.S. industry standard chart. EXO finished seventh in the same category last year.
The band’s second studio album “EXODUS” finished eighth in the World Albums category, which is again the best record for South Korean artists.
The album opened on top of the real-time World Albums chart upon its release in March and finished 95th on the Billboard 200 chart.
