EXO Tao not leaving group, SM says
April 16, 2015
After a flurry of rumors and a Chinese media’s report about a third Chinese EXO member’s exit from the superstar K-pop group, SM Entertainment has stepped up to shut them down.
The agency told Yonhap Thursday that the Chinese outlet, iQIYI, based their report on a video that surfaced online but that it is untrue.
iQIYI reported that Tao, whose absence from group activities with “Call Me Baby” had been explained by a leg injury, had notified SM Entertainment of contract nullification.
Last year, two EXO-M members, Kris and Luhan, filed separate lawsuits against the agency to nullify their contracts. Both are now active in China.
