EXO Tao sets up solo agency in China
June 11, 2015
Controversial EXO-M Chinese member Tao set up a solo agency, Huang Zitao Company, in China Thursday, a move that may point to his exit from the K-pop mega-group, MyDaily reported.
Tao, 22, ceased to participate in the group’s “Call Me Baby” activities following an injury in April. His father then released a statement in which he expressed wishes for his son to leave SM Entertainment.
The agency has been mostly quiet about Tao’s absence, saying that they are in the process of discussion with the member.
Since April, Tao has participated in promoting a Chinese game company as its model. He is expected to follow in former EXO members Kris and Luhan’s footsteps in entering China’s acting industry.
