EXO’s second album marks 730K sales
May 8, 2015
EXO has another big seller on its hands with “Exodus,” their latest release that reportedly has sold about 730,000 copies as of Thursday, Yonhap reported.
According to agency SM Entertainment Friday, the Korean edition of the album topped the Gaon chart, with 452,869 copies sold, while the Chinese edition came in at No. 3 with 275,800 copies sold.
The group’s “Call Me Baby” has proved successful, winning music programs and dominating domestic charts upon its March 30 release.
High sales numbers come as little surprise — EXO broke a 12-year record in the Korean music industry with their first studio album, ‘XOXO,” when it hit one million sales in 2013.
