Fire damages 103-year-old house in Koreatown

(CNS) – A fire damaged a 103-year-old house in the Koreatown area today, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 900 block of South Catalina Street at 10:32 a.m. extinguished the flames in 34 minutes, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire started in basement and spread up the first- and second-story walls into the attic, Scott said. The cause was not immediately known. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
