FNC signs Noh Hong-chul, Kim Yong-man
It looks like FNC Entertainment is set to become a top dog of South Korean variety programming — it signed two big names, Noh Hong-chul and Kim Yong-man, to come under its umbrella Monday, according to Yonhap.
“Noh Hong-chul and Kim Yong-man, who previously worked independently without agencies, are planning to restart their television activities,” FNC said.
Noh, a hugely popular TV personality and former member of MBC’s “Infinite Challenge,” put a hold on his career last year after a drunk driving incident. Kim was also in a halt, due to gambling charges.
FNC recently signed Jung Hyung-don and Yoo Jae-suk, two top variety personalities, and counts under its wing K-pop bands F.T. Island, CNBLUE and AOA, actors Lee Da-hye, Lee Dong-gun and Jung Woo, and comedians Song Eun-i and Lee Guk-joo.
