GOT7′s new album tops iTunes music charts in 25 markets
SEOUL, Sept. 18 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy band GOT7′s new album “Present: You” topped iTunes album charts in 25 countries and regions less than one day after its release, the band’s management agency said Tuesday.
The new album ranked atop the iTunes album charts in Brazil, Finland, Hong Kong, New Zealand and 21 other markets as of Tuesday morning, JYP Entertainment said. The album was released Monday evening.
It also ranked within the top five of the iTunes album charts in the United States, Australia, Canada, Greece, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Ireland and Slovakia, JYP noted.
The album’s main track, “Lullaby,” also took domestic music charts by storm, topping such major single charts as Mnet, Naver, Bugs and Soribada as of Tuesday morning.
