Hands full? Try self-tying shoes from Korea
Tying one’s shoes is something that many take for granted, but the task becomes more difficult if you’re carrying an armful of books or coffee in one hand and a mobile phone in the other.
Korean outdoor brand Treksta thinks it has the solution: “hands-free shoes.”
Released yesterday, the new product allows users to tighten and loosen one’s shoes with simple motions. Either pull and drag the lower side to tighten or give a slight push of the heel to loosen it up.
It is targeted towards customers who often find their hands full.
“Treksta has made an effort to develop new technologies and products while while retaining traditional designs,” said Kwon Dong-Chil, CEO of Treksta. ”This line of newly-launched shoes combines convenience and simplicity. We expect this to create a new paradigm in the shoes market.”
