Honey Butter chips selling for $50 a bag in the US
By Kim Chul-soo
Would you pay $50 for a bag of chips?
Some people would, apparently. South Korea’s latest obsession, the ever-evasive, reportedly delicious Honey Butter chips, are going for upwards of $50 a bag on eBay and Korean American community boards alike.
Currently, one eBay auction has 26 bids made for two 120-gram bags of chips for $103.50 as of time of writing, with three days left on the clock.
On a Los Angeles-based online community for Korean sellers and buyers, five bags of chips sold for $50 each; on eBay, 12 bags of Honey Butter chips sold for $56.75 for three from Nov. 23 to Dec. 3.
In Korea, where Haitai-produced Honey Butter chips have become notoriously difficult to find thanks to its meteoric rise in popularity, the price of one 60-gram bag is about $1.50.

Maybe they just realize that selling a bag of chips for $25+ is only possible to people in the states. If you’re in Korea, who in Korea is going to buy a bag of chips from you for that much money?

yes..I like the basic concepts behind Second Life but it seems incredibly outdated and when I played it was intensely non-intuitive / user friendly to an extent that made EVE look like a game for toddlers. thanks from
