Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation to drop first solo single
November 30, 2016
SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Yonhap) — Hyoyeon of the idol group Girls’ Generation is set to release her first solo single later this week, her management agency said Tuesday.
“Mystery” is a blend of Latin, pop and dance, with a rhythmical refrain and dreamy lyrics, according to S.M. Entertainment. It will be released through the company’s digital music channel “STATION” at the stroke of midnight Friday.
S.M. said the 27-year-old singer’s husky voice and powerful rap will add to the song’s appeal.
She has scheduled performances of the song on various TV music programs starting Friday.
