Hyun Soo-ner or later: Orioles Kim still hitless after 16 at-bats
March 7, 2016
South Korean outfielder Kim Hyun-soo is still searching for his first hit with the Baltimore Orioles. He’s 0 for 16 so far and hasn’t drawn a walk — he walked 101 times in the Korean league last year.
Kim was inserted as the clean-up hitter against the Boston Red Sox Sunday in Florida, but it didn’t help. He struck out twice and popped to catcher en route to leaving six runners on base.
