HyunA’s project group to drop new EP
SEOUL, July 3 (Yonhap) — Singer HyunA’s mixed project group Triple H will return later this month with a new album, the artists’ management agency said Tuesday.
The group that also consists of Hui and E’Dawn of boy band Pentagon will release its second EP album “Retro Futurism” on July 18, Cube Entertainment said.
Triple H debuted in May last year with their first EP album “199X” featuring ’90s electro funk-style music.
The 26-year-old songstress debuted in 2007 via Wonder Girls of JYP Entertainment but soon moved to Cube Entertainment to form 4minute. While the team disbanded in 2016, HyunA has enjoyed a successful solo career, with hits like “Change,” “Bubble Pop!” and “Ice Cream” under her belt.
She gained global recognition for her appearance in the music video of Psy’s worldwide hit “Gangnam Style” in 2012.
