Incheon airport named best in Asia-Pacific
September 30, 2016
SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) — Incheon International Airport said Friday it was named as the best airport in the Asia-Pacific region for the fourth-consecutive year by a Britain-based travel magazine.
The Travel Trade Gazette Travel Awards, which first started in 1989, honors various businesses and organizations related to the tourism industry.
The company conducted the survey both online and offline for a two-month period since May.
“It is meaningful that the prize was based on the evaluation made by officials from the tourism industry,” the operator said, adding it will continue efforts to become the world’s top airport.
