INFINITE to throw summer concerts in Korea, Japan
SEOUL, June 24 (Yonhap) — South Korean boy band INFINITE will hold a series of summer concerts at home and in Japan in August, its agency said Friday.
The seven-member act will kick off the third round of its brand concert series, dubbed “That Summer 3,” in Blue Square, central Seoul, from Aug. 3 to 7, according to Woollim Entertainment. “That Summer 3″ will be organized with concerts of compact scale to bring the audience closer to the performers.
On Aug. 13 and 14, the K-pop idol group will perform in the South Korean harbor city of Busan, and in Japan.
INFINITE has held the summer brand concert series every two years, starting in 2012.
Tickets sold out fast for the first two rounds of “That Summer,” an official from Woollim Entertainment said. The agency also said it expects this year’s concerts to be fully booked as well.
The agency is still discussing dates for ticket sales.
