‘Interstellar’ crew publicly thanks Koreans
The stars of “Interstallar” ― the Warner Bros film that has dominated the South Korean box office ― have thanked Korean fans through a video message.
Interstellar has led box office sales here since it opened on Nov. 6.
“Thank you to all of the Korean fans,” said Matthew McConaughey, who plays NASA pilot Joseph Cooper in the film. “You came out in great numbers, and I’m all inspired by it ― and glad that you’re enjoying it. Please continue.”
Director Christopher Nolan said, “I’d like to say thank you to all the Korean fans who’ve come to see the film and who will hopefully keep coming to see it.”
“I just wanted to say that I’m extremely grateful,” said Anne Hathaway, who plays Dr. Amelia Brand.
The movie has topped other anticipated blockbusters such as “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part,” and “Fury.”
