Jeffrey Kang wins ‘Masters of Korean Community’ golf title

Jeffrey Kang, 23, won the 37th annual Baek Sang Korea Open hosted by the Korea Times.
Kang shot 4-under 70 on the South Course of Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills, Calif. Friday to win the two-day stroke play event going away at 11-under 135. He had fired 7-under 65 in the first round on the North Course.
Defending champion Storm Lee finished a non-threatening second at 6-under 140.
In the senior flight for those golfers who are 50 years old and above, defending champion Kang Tae-sik, 53, hung on to successfully defend the title despite hitting 3-over for the day. He was the only senior entrant with a score under par after two days.
