K-pop group Supernova tops Japan’s Oricon chart
September 10, 2015
K-pop boy band Supernova, also known as Choshinsung, topped Japan’s Oricon music chart Thursday with their newly released seventh album, “7IRO,” Yonhap reported.
The album, the group’s first full-length effort in two years, has reportedly sold 22,000 copies since its release Wednesday.
Though Supernova has seen little success in their home country, they have been a steady hit in Japan.
Maroo Entertainment, their agency, said the group’s Japan promotions includes plans for sub-units.
