K-pop producer Brave Brothers working with rapper YG
December 15, 2014
K-pop producer Brave Brothers has joined hands with American rapper YG for his upcoming 2015 album, Brave Entertainment said Monday.
According to the agency, Brave Brothers — the 35-year-old (real name Kang Dong-chul) hitmaker behind songs by artists including Big Bang, Sistar, 4minute and AOA — is currently in the U.S. working with YG.
The young rapper’s debut album “My Krazy Life” was Billboard’s choice for best rap album this year.
“Two giants of the American and Korean music industries have come together,” a source at Brave Entertainment said, according to Yonhap. “YG plans on visiting Korea to see the Brave Entertainment offices.”
