Kang Jung-ho’s BA dips to .150
March 18, 2015
Pittsburgh Pirates’ $11 million Korean import Kang Jung-ho failed to get a hit in three at-bats against the Detroit Tigers Wednesday.
By striking out swinging twice and grounding out to shortstop, his batting average has dropped all the way down to .150.
Since hitting a home run in his first preseason game and a double in his second game, the 27-year-old power-hitting infielder has gone 1 for 16.
He may be pressing as now he has struck out in five straight games, after striking out only once in first four games. It was also the first time he struck out twice in one game.
He has walked twice so far.
