February 11, 2015
Ready to see another Korean American-led TV show?
Welcome ABC’s “Dr. Ken,” starring Ken Jeong, to the club.
The network gave the green light for a pilot to the comedy starring the “Community” actor, according to Deadline.com.
The show will follow Jeong — who is a licensed physician in real life — as a doctor who is “a frustrated HMO doctor juggling medicine, marriage and parenting, and succeeding at none of them.”
Jared Stern and Mike O’Connell will write the show, with Jeong and O’Connell as co-executive producers.
