Kim Hyun-joong’s case gets sent to prosecutor’s office
Kim Hyun-joong is not out of hot water just yet.
Songpa police in Seoul sent a charge filed against Kim, who was accused of abusing his former girlfriend in multiple instances from May through July, to the prosecutor’s office on Aug. 29, Yonhap reported Thursday.
The charge was one of four filed and dropped against the Hallyu star by his former girlfriend.
“We cannot press the other, comparatively less severe assault charges against him, as they were dropped, but this charge has been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office because it was a clear crime [admitted to by Kim],” a police source said.
The actor and singer was accused by his girlfriend of multiple instances of abuse starting in May, among her injuries broken ribs and bruises.
