Korea v. Costa Rica countdown: 3 days to go!
The long-awaited chance to see the Brazil World Cup-bound Korean Soccer team in Los Angeles is now only three days away.
The Hong Myung-bo led Korean National soccer team will face fellow World Cup qualifiers Costa Rica at the iconic L.A. Memorial Coliseum Stadium on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 5 pm. This will be the first International ‘A’ Match of 2014 between any World Cup-qualified teams and will give both Nations a strong test in their buildup to the FIFA World Cup Finals in Brazil this summer.
The sides last met in San Francisco in 2006 when Costa Rica were the victors with a 1-0 win.
Costa Rica qualified for the 2014 World Cup rather easily and their strength is known to be their back line, which at one stretch did not allow a single goal for 476 minutes. Korea’s ability to score will surely be tested.
