Korean Americans across the U.S. celebrated Korean Independence Day March 1.
In Los Angeles, 12 local organizations, among them Korean American Federation of Los Angeles, the Korean Consulate General, Pyong Tong LA and 3.1 Women’s Association in USA, gathered for the 96th March 1 Celebration inside KAFLA.
Similarly, New York and Washington D.C., Korean American organizations held celebrations, with New Yorkers gathering inside the Korean American Association of Greater New York.
