Korean football legend Cha Beom-geun’s 3rd son arrested for assault
October 3, 2014
The son of former Korean national soccer team coach Cha Beom-geun was taken in by Seoul police Friday after accusations of assault on a customer in a Gangnam club, Yonhap reported.
Cha Se-jji, 28, is accused of punching a man identified as Kim, 23, outside a club in Gangnam around 3:10 a.m., according to police.
Cha Se-jji reportedly took Kim outside after being angered by being bumped into while dancing and drinking.
“Cha accepted most of the charges,” police said. “Because we felt the matter was minor, we’ve sent him home for the time being.”
