Korean org opens scholarship applications for WA college students

Washington state’s KAGRO will roll out $1,000 scholarships to 10 students in celebration of its 30th year since foundation.
According to the organization, any college students attending in-state institutions may apply.
Students must demonstrate leadership and volunteer activities and have GPAs over 3.25.
An essay with the theme “What have I done to achieve my dreams?” is a requirement.
Scholarships will be given inside DoubleTree Hotel on Nov. 19.
