L.A. County Gasoline Price Rises to Highest Amount Since Sept. 18

(CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today to its highest amount since Sept. 18, increasing a half-cent to $4.055.
The average price is 1 cent more than one week ago and 17 cents higher than one month ago but 5.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price rose to its highest amount since Sept. 17, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $4.038. It is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 15.6 cents higher than one month ago, but 4 cents less than one year ago.
