July 28, 2015
Los Angeles and New York are coming together for the promotion and education of Korean tradition and culture.
The two heads of each city’s Korean culture and heritage society came to an agreement this weekend for mutual cooperation.
Korea Culture & Heritage Society of Los Angeles President Lee Jin-soo and his New York counterpart, Lee Chun-beom, met in New York Saturday to discuss the spread of traditional Korean culture through exhibits, education and seminars put on by their organizations.
They plan to become co-directors of the society and to give the presidential title to Kim Sun-won, an art appraiser and calligrapher.
