Lee Byung-hun joins Hollywood’s ‘The Magnificent Seven’ remake
May 7, 2015
South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun, who has increasingly been picking up Hollywood projects, is set to star in another, “The Magnificent Seven,” alongside Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.
BH Entertainment, his agency, confirmed the news this week.
Lee will play a character named Billy Rocks in the film, a remake of the 1960 Western that follows seven outlaws who protect a village from bandits.
Other costars include Vincent D’Onofrio, Ethan Hawke and Wagner Moura. Antoine Fuqua is on to direct.
The project comes after his stint as T-1000 in “Terminator Genisys,” due out this year.
